Deputy mine superintendent

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the earthwork contractors and blast contractors and subordinates to perform duties as required ensuring Nui Phao is meeting the planned daily scope of work
• Review monthly/weekly production plan/forecasts
• Review contractor performance if required
• Submit weekly report if required
• Perform safety inspection daily, weekly and monthly as required

We are looking for qualified and driven individuals who have:

• Qualifications: University graduation upon
  • Supervising of Mining of S1, S2, S3, certificate IV training and assessment in the workplace advisable. Diploma of Mining operation advantageous but not necessary
• Experience: 10 years of experience working in open pit
  • Prior experience in the operation of open cut mining equipment (essential) (3 machines) and supervision of personnel is advantageous but nor necessary to enable a supervisor/deputy to better understand the limitation of the equipment, scope of work that can normally be safely and effectively performed
