Manager FP&A

Position Objective:

• MHT is one of the leading Tungsten companies in the world.  It is entering an exciting phase of growth with the announcement of the HC Starck Tungsten acquisition which will see the company transition from Vietnamese focused company onto the world stage, with operations in four countries and in three continents. The Finance Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Manager reports to the CFO, works closely with the Exco and plays a critical role in helping to drive business performance and understanding throughout the business. 
• In this role the FP&A manager will assist the CFO and lead a team of people based in the head office and at site operations in developing world class budgeting, forecasting and management reporting systems utilizing SAP, enabling management to make timely, informed and data driven decisions in an ever changing and fast paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Planning and Analysis

• Responsible for preparing monthly management accounts and maintaining budgeting and forecasting models and processes for use by Site Management/MSR management and MSN management. 
• Leverage SAP in the development of reporting systems and processes.
• Interrogate variances together with management to understand/explain and rectify
• Focussed on continually improving the budgeting and forecasting processes together with management with the specific aim of improving accuracy and timeliness of information.
• Support the CFO in developing and maintaining a cost reduction culture throughout the organization.
• A valued business partner to the business, providing insightful analysis and tools to management that allows for effective decision making.
• Lead a team of Hanoi and Site based accounting professionals.

People Development

• Develop FP&A team goals that are fully aligned with the Company’s goals.
• Lead and provide coaching, guidance and support, set professional development plans to assist staff to reach their full potential.
• Ensure the team delivers the highest standard of customer service raising the bar of performance through the Performance Management System.
• Enhance competency of management accounting support by providing appropriate and continuous training, possible cross posting and other developmental programs.

We are looking for qualified and driven individuals who have:

Experience, skill, knowledge

• Graduated from a University in accounting or financing faculty
• Preference for internationally recognised financial qualifications in management accounting eg. CIMA/CPA
• Graduated from a University in accounting or financing faculty
• Ideally manager position with big 4 accounting firm or finance manager at least 5 years working experience in budgeting and forecasting, analysis general accounting at the same level
• Understanding of IFRS and VAS accounting standards.
• Familiar with ERP system, SAP preferred
• Excellent command of both spoken and written English and Vietnamese
