Position Objective

  • To operate and maintain the production process of an assigned area to ensure the quality, efficiency and safety of the plant and personnel

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform chemical operations in safe and effective manner
  • Operate plant equipment as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Monitor and control high pressure and temperature of chemical process equipment, …
  • Handle, transport and process chemicals safely such as: H2SO4, NaOH, NH3, NaHS, MgSO4, Al2(SO4)3, …
  • Recommend changes to SOPs and suggest new equipment to improve productivity
  • Safely operate Plant crane machine: forklift, bobcat, pallet truck, hoist
  • Document plant processes and record production data
  • Clean equipment as needed and report repairs to maintenance personnel
  • Conduct various scientific testing to confirm
  • Monitor online equipment and process flows on the DCS screens throughout the plant, ensuring all set point changes performed are accurate and required. (SX, P1, P2…)
  • Apply and control production set points as directed by supervisors according to data analysis of the process ore & solutions
  • Immediate reporting of process deviation and responsible for entry data to area log sheets
  • Understand the strict rules of safety whilst working within an explosive zone area
  • Understand how the equipment you are operating works, observe, listen, touch & smell to identify any abnormalities with its operation and report immediately

We are looking for qualified and driven individuals who have:

  • Qualification: High school or higher
  • Experience: Have experience about mechanical, equipment or working within a similal Chemical Industry setting
  • Have hoist crane certification, forklift certification or HSE
  • Personal Behaviors : Team work, Problem solving, Communication, Basic calculation, Basic measuring, Working under high pressure
  • Basic computer
