Procurement Officer

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform sourcing activities for various types of spares & consumables, admin/stationery, equipment, major consumables, etc.
  • Able to handle P2P process
  • Maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Make reports on purchasing and sourcing activity including procurement spend and price trend analysis
  • Communicate with internal and external customers/stakeholders and cross functional team members to maintain required service level
  • Negotiate with vendors for the best outcome in terms of “Total Cost Of Ownership”
  • Able to carry out expediting to ensure on time delivery
  • Perform purchase order management and resolve conflicts if any
  • Resolve QA/QC related issues as and when occur
  • Able to do vendor development and conduct vendor performance assessment
  • Any other job as assigned from time to time

We are looking for qualified and driven individuals who have

Experience, skill, knowledge

  • University degree in Engineering/ Commerce/ Business Management
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement of engineered goods and/or services
  • Demonstrate an excellent understanding of the factors that impact the supply chain including political, economic, legal, regulatory, trade practices and cultural factors
  • Fluent in English
  • Knowledge of SAP
  • Fluent in English
  • Mining experience, though not essential, will be looked upon favorably
