Procurement Officer
Key Responsibilities
- Perform sourcing activities for various types of spares & consumables, admin/stationery, equipment, major consumables, etc.
- Able to handle P2P process
- Maintain good relationships with vendors and suppliers
- Make reports on purchasing and sourcing activity including procurement spend and price trend analysis
- Communicate with internal and external customers/stakeholders and cross functional team members to maintain required service level
- Negotiate with vendors for the best outcome in terms of “Total Cost Of Ownership”
- Able to carry out expediting to ensure on time delivery
- Perform purchase order management and resolve conflicts if any
- Resolve QA/QC related issues as and when occur
- Able to do vendor development and conduct vendor performance assessment
- Any other job as assigned from time to time
We are looking for qualified and driven individuals who have
Experience, skill, knowledge
- University degree in Engineering/ Commerce/ Business Management
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Procurement of engineered goods and/or services
- Demonstrate an excellent understanding of the factors that impact the supply chain including political, economic, legal, regulatory, trade practices and cultural factors
- Fluent in English
- Knowledge of SAP
- Fluent in English
- Mining experience, though not essential, will be looked upon favorably
