Project Controls Manager

The Project Controls Manager is responsible for providing expertise in all project controls

functions associated with various projects, including baseline schedule development and
management, performance status and reporting, baseline change control, risk management,
earned value management guidance, budgeting, cost control, reporting, capitalization of assets, establishing WBS, cashflow controlling, governance of company policies and
procedures, etc…

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversees and controls ALL Project construction related Costs, Schedule and Contracts execution, and valued assets
  • Establishes operating efficiency of the project, monitors and analyzes risks, and recommends timely mitigation plans
  • Ensuring the Projects Control team produce weekly/monthly reports inline with the project and companyreportingcalendar,providingdetailsonprogress,actuals,forecast and explanation of variances
  • Promotes costs & schedule programe /software aid, and implementation throughout
  • Liaise with various stakeholders, such as operations, engineering, procurement &
  • contracts,externalserviceproviders’personneltoensureappropriateprojectcontrols systems are established
  • Identifying and resolving potential scheduling and planning issues
  • Preparing all required project reports including forecast cost and schedule, progress and variance to plan in respect of costs, time & resources
  • Assessing,reviewing&advisingSeniorManagementwithrespectofcontractorclaims for variations, delays and extensions of time
  • Ensure that project controls processes are consistently applied across the project
  • Assists in the compilation and management of Project Control policies, procedures and guidelines

We are looking for qualified and driven individuals who have

Experience, skill, knowledge

  • 15 years Project Management experience (Multi‐disciplines)
  • Proventrackrecordofsuccessfulworkonmulti‐disciplineprojectsofequivalentprojects
  • Accounting and Financial aspect competency
  • Bachelor’s degree (BSA)minimum or relevant degree of qualification

Competency and other requirements

  • Expert in (PMS) Project Management Systems, control forms and procedures
  • Adept skills in MS office, PM tool programs and Scheduling software (i.e., PRISM, P+, Primavera P6, etc.
  • Expertise in EVM processes and KPI tracking
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Technical ability problem solving.
  • Organization Skills.
  • Teamwork
  • Excellent both oral and written English skills.
