Our production process allows us to make equal use of primary and secondary raw materials (residual materials containing tungsten). To ensure a sustainable and secure supply of raw materials H.C. Starck Tungsten Powders relies primarily on recycling. With the help of this process, we can rework almost all industrial residual materials containing tungsten into new, high-quality tungsten carbide, and we can do the same for used carbide components, such as inserts, drills and mills.
