[June 2023] -Masan High-Tech Materials’ subsidiary, H.C. Starck GmbH, successfully completed the acquisition of Chemitas, a services provider in energy supply, waste management and logistics based in Goslar, Germany. This strategic move enhances manufacturing and delivery capabilities while aligning with Masan High-Tech Materials’ commitment to delivering comprehensive solutions to its customers in the global market.

12 April 2023 – Masan High-Tech Materials Corporation (“Masan High-Tech Materials” or “MHT”) has announced the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (“MOU”) with EQ Resources Limited (“EQR”), and its existing joint venture partner, Cronimet Australia Pty Ltd (“Cronimet”) related to the Mt Carbine Tungsten Project in Far North Queensland, Australia. The MOU will establish a working relationship based on reciprocity and mutual benefit, exchanging knowledge and experiences around tungsten exploration, mining, and processing, potentially assessing new project opportunities, and new product applications.

13th November 2022 – Masan Group looks forward to the Vietnamese Government’s support in reviewing and approving of the import of tungsten scrap to ensure stable raw material supply for the Tungsten Scrap Recycling Project – a key project Masan has been putting tremendous efforts into research and implementation with the ambition to turn Vietnam into a tungsten recycling technology centre according to CEO of Masan Group, Mr. Danny Le, at the Vietnam – Germany Business Roundtable in the presence of Vietnam’s Prime Minister H.E. Goslar, GERMANY, 15th July 2022 – H.C. Starck Tungsten Powders (“HCS”), a wholly owned subsidiary of Masan High-Tech Materials (“MHT”), today announced the signing of definitive agreements to invest £45m (approx. €52m) into Nyobolt Limited (“Nyobolt”), a fast-charging Li-ion battery solutions company that leverages HCS’s advanced tungsten materials in its anode, for a 15% equity interest on a fully diluted basis. The investment, representing the majority of Nyobolt’s Series B financing round, is expected to accelerate HCS’s vision of becoming a high-tech, value-added business by developing new tungsten applications critical for the technologies of the future.

Ho Chi Minh City, 26 October 2020 – Masan High-Tech Materials Corporation (“MHT” or the “Company”) signed definitive agreements to establish a strategic alliance in the tungsten industry with Mitsubishi Materials Corporation (“MMC”) with an objective to develop a leading, high-tech tungsten materials platform. As part of the strategic alliance, MMC will subscribe for 109,915,542 newly issued ordinary shares via a private placement for a total cash consideration equivalent to US$90 million (the “Strategic Investment”). On completion of the transaction, MMC will own 10.0% of the fully diluted share capital of the Company and becoming the second largest shareholder.
