Analyst – Commercial

MAIN DUTIES

• Extraction of information through ERP (SAP) for Masan High-Tech Material (“MHT”) entities and perform the relevant analysis as required by the manager.
• Development and monthly update of operational efficiency analyses for MHT and its entities.
• Financial Modelling (Integrated financial statements, financial ratios analysis, sensitivities and scenarios analysis).
• Business modelling for valuation of organic/inorganic expansion opportunities in association with internal and external stakeholders.
• Primary and secondary research for collection of required as required.
• Creation of required presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Set-up of virtual data room for potential investors and conduct due diligence on M&A targets under consideration.
• Coordination of Financial and Tax due diligences for M&A deals.
• Working with internal and external subject matter experts, investment bankers, finance and legal services providers, auditors and PE players.
• Development of monthly and annual Capex forecast in association with Portfolio Management Team
• Download actual data of previous months from SAP
• Contact project owners/manager to have forecast data for the coming months
• Incorporate actual data and forecast to monthly updated file/Annual planning file
• Ranking of projects in the portfolio.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Graduate/Post-graduate in finance/banking/economics with 2-3 years’ experience with the credit department of a corporate bank/investment bank/corporate strategy/business development/equity research/private equity/fund house.
• Exposure in natural resources will be a plus.
• ACCA not a specific requirement but a plus point/preference.

Competency and other requirements

• Sound judgment, particularly in valuation matters, with strong analytical skills.
• Should be an expert in creating detailed financial models and corporate and deal presentations
• Expert of MS Office tools (Excel, Power-point, Word).
• Should have excellent communication and presentation skills (English).
• Should have experience in development of financial models for operational decisions/M&A deals/on-shore and off-shore financing.

• Working time: 8h/day, from Monday – Friday (Saturday & Sunday off)
