A Moment of Pride: Nui Phao Showcases Vietnamese High-Tech Materials on the National Stage

On the morning of December 27, 2025, Nui Phao reached a moment of profound pride as its high-tech mineral products were showcased at the 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress—one of the most significant national events honoring innovation, excellence, and collective contribution to Vietnam’s development.

Within the exhibition area of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, the strategic mineral products of Masan High-Tech Materials (Nui Phao) stood out as powerful symbols of Vietnamese capability, intelligence, and aspiration. This exhibition space welcomed General Secretary To Lam, along with current and former senior leaders of the Party and the State, who personally visited and engaged with the display.

Under the theme “Emulation in Innovation and Creativity – Accelerating Breakthroughs for a Strong, Civilized and Prosperous Vietnam”, the Congress highlighted exemplary achievements across the nation. Among them, Nui Phao’s advanced mineral products and deep-processing capabilities captured strong attention – representing not just industrial success, but a strategic leap for Vietnam in the global minerals value chain.

During his visit, General Secretary To Lam highly commended Nui Phao’s high-tech products, emphasizing: “These are products that the world is paying great attention to – and Vietnam is able to produce them. This is something that must be further promoted.”

He particularly welcomed Nui Phao’s mastery of technology, noting the importance of deep processing and exporting high-value, knowledge-based products, rather than raw minerals. His words reaffirmed the strategic direction that Nui Phao has pursued with perseverance over the years.

The moment was made even more meaningful when Former General Secretary Nong Duc Manh recalled his direct involvement in guiding the Nui Phao project during its early days in Dai Tu District, Thai Nguyen Province. He shared his pride, stating that Vietnamese people must take ownership of the nation’s natural resources, especially at a time when the world is fiercely competing for strategic minerals.

Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh also reflected on the project’s journey, acknowledging that since Masan took over the Nui Phao project in 2010, it has grown into the successful, globally relevant operation it is today.

The 11th National Patriotic Emulation Congress serves to review the emulation movements from 2021–2025, honor outstanding individuals and collectives, and set new directions for the 2026–2030 period, aligned with the spirit of the Party’s 14th National Congress—ushering Vietnam into a new era of strong, prosperous, and sustainable development.

Today, Masan High-Tech Materials proudly stands as a flagship enterprise in the national emulation movement. Nui Phao has consistently remained the largest budget contributor among Vietnamese companies in Thai Nguyên Province for many consecutive years. Our presence at this prestigious national exhibition is a powerful testament to the collective dedication, innovation, and resilience of every Nui Phao employee.
