Senior Business Analyst – PMO (new)

JOB SUMMARY

The Senior Business Analyst – PMO will report to the Manager – PMO, and will facilitate the strategic planning, execution, and problem solving for MHT’s operational functions such as supply chain management, processing, maintenance, mining etc.

MAIN DUTIES

• Facilitate the communication of the business objectives, and targets to the various functions and business units.
• Strategic planning for different operational initiatives in association with Chief Commercial Officer and Manager – PMO.
• Coordination with different operational functions, especially between supply chain function and other operational functions to address the day-to-day business issues and the challenges.
• Required primary and secondary market research for identification of market trend for key raw material being consumed by MHT for cost effective material management.
• Required analysis for MHT cost optimization including but not limited to detailed cost benefit analysis.
• Conduct regular market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, pricing, and supplier performance, and conduct data analysis to find opportunities to improve and optimize the costs for MHT.
• Incorporate market data with actual business performance to create and analyze various business scenarios for optimize business solutions to deliver company strategy.
• Identify and create opportunities for cost reduction and value adding to projects/departments by introducing a collaborative approach to preferred suppliers.
• Facilitate the annual capital planning process.
• Review proposed investments, portfolio capital spending, and facilitate approval of relevant investments to support the execution of business plans.
• Participate in meetings and reports to critical stakeholders to keep stakeholders well informed and enable them to fulfill oversight role.
• Build and maintain relationships with all stakeholders and advise when required.
• Provide some certain levels of coaching to Business Analysts.
• Any ad hoc task as required for the business and assigned by the direct or indirect manager/colleagues.

JOB REQUIREMNTS

• Master’s Degree and at least 5-10 years of experience in Business Analysis, Accounting, Project Portfolio Management, Procurement Strategy Planning, International Business, and/or related fields.
• Experience in heavy industry.
• Experience in portfolio management tasks such as setting business objectives, project prioritization, capital allocation, capital spend management and gate review meetings. Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, closely liaise and communicate work plan and progress.
• Excellent communication skills with all stakeholders.
• Plan and schedule work to meet time commitments.
• Monitor progress against work schedule to ensure any issues that may impact on schedule, budget or other areas of the portfolio are identified.
• Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders, closely liaise and communicate work plan and progress.
• Exceptional Communication Skills (both oral and written English skills).
• Problem Solving, management, coaching skills, and organization Skills.
• MS Suite & SAP.

• Job location: Hanoi
• Working time: 8h/day, from Monday – Friday (Saturday & Sunday off)
