Senior Officer – BP&A
JOB SUMMARY
The BP&A Senior Officer reports to the BP&A Superintendent and plays a key role in helping drive business performance and understanding throughout the business. In this role the incumbent will have the opportunity to help develop integrated budgeting, forecasting and management reporting systems utilizing SAP, enabling management to make timely, informed and data driven decisions in an ever changing and fast paced environment.
MAIN DUTIES
- Preparation of consolidated financial forecasts, considering alternative scenarios and economic prospects as appropriate.
- Support BP&A Supervisor in preparation of monthly management report/ annual budget and monthly presentation to Group.
- Checking monthly department cost forecast and sales forecast, identify variance with the previous forecast and submit for further review and consideration.
- Conduct a review and evaluation of the economic effectiveness of purchase orders and sales orders originating from the Sales Department, ensuring compliance with the company’s strategic direction and policies
- Prepare ad-hoc analysis as required to support decision making.
- Work closely with cost controlling teams to understand and report on company performance.
- Undertake market research and work with relevant department to develop assumptions on fuel, electricity, FX, reagent price, etc. to support monthly forecasting and budgeting processes
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Graduated from a University in accounting or financing faculty
- Knowledge of Financial Accounting and Management accounting. International accounting/finance qualification is preferable (e.g. ACCA/CPA)
- Hands-on experience of forecasting/budgeting and management accounting is preferable but not a must.
- Minimum 3-year experience in audit/advisory at Big4 or public accounting firms is preferable.
- Understanding of manufacturing or mining processes is preferable.
- Good command in MS Office, especially MS Excel and PowerPoint
- Power BI/Query/VBA. AI tools/Power BI/Query/VBA preferred
- SAP knowledge preferred
- Excellent English skills both written and oral

- Job location: Hanoi Office
- Working time: At 8:00-17:00 from Monday – Friday.
