Senior Officer – Compensation

MAIN DUTIES

• Develop plans for the inventory and assessment of land and assets;
• Prepare compensation, support, and resettlement cost estimates and plans for implementation of site clearance;
• Review cost estimates and complete documents and supporting records related to site clearance expenses for projects;
• Coordinate with the Site Clearance Council in making compensation and site clearance support payments to organizations and individuals in accordance with regulations;
• Coordinate with the Site Clearance Council in compensation and site clearance activities, including mobilization, enforcement, land recovery, and handover of land;
• Coordinate with the Compensation and Site Clearance Council in the assessment and determination of compensation rates for land, resettlement land, and resettlement plot allocation;
• Fully and timely complete mandatory training plans and programs applicable to the assigned position, and proactively acquire knowledge to improve professional qualifications;
• Complete the annual training-hour target as required by MHT;

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or College degree; Knowledge of natural resources and environment, project investment, land management, and construction;
• Good knowledge and understanding of land-related laws and regulations;
• Skills in land management and management of planning and architectural data;
• Understanding of the procedures and steps involved in site clearance;
• Ability to assess situations and provide recommendations to management to improve work effectiveness;
• Soft skills: Good communication skills; proficient in Microsoft Office; proficiency in specialized software such as MicroStation and MapInfo; Good communication and coordination skills with local authorities to accelerate the site clearance progress;
• Attitude: Positive, proactive, and responsible for assigned tasks;
• Personal qualities: Honest, sociable, and hardworking;
• Capabilities: Ability to work under high pressure; good judgment and ability to carefully consider and evaluate situations; creativity;
• Good health;
• At least 5 years of experience in a similar position.

• Job location: Thai Nguyen
• Working time: At 8:00-17:00 from Monday – Friday.
