For traffic and road safety – Nui Phao Mining in action
In an effort to ensure traffic safety and reduce road congestion near their plants, especially provincial road 263, Nui Phao Mining Company (NPMC) has collaborated with the Ha Thuong Commune People’s Committee and the Ha Thuong Communal Police (Dai Tu) to implement a wide range of solutions.

Specifically, NPMC employees participated in distributing pamphlets about traffic safety, directing traffic flow, reminding and urging compliance with traffic safety regulations, thereby contributing to maintaining traffic order around the mine site.
A significant amount of traffic flows, especially during peak hours, are present on provincial road 263 in front of the main entrance of Nui Phao Mining, creating numerous risks to traffic safety.
In response to this situation, Nui Phao Mining launched a campaign to implement traffic safety solutions from July 15th to September 30th, 2023, aimed at supporting and guiding people during peak hours, reducing the risk of accidents, incidents, and local traffic congestion, while also raising awareness of traffic safety regulations among road users.

The program runs in the morning from 5:30 AM to 6:00 AM and in the evening from 5:45 PM to 6:15 PM, when major road axes are most likely to be congested by traffic, particularly at crossings and connections with the national highway. Among our activities were directing and coordinating traffic to reduce congestion, checking and reminding road users to obey traffic laws and wear helmets, observing road signs and markings, driving at the prescribed speed limit, staying in the correct lanes, and stopping and parking according to regulations. Additionally, the program prohibits driving under the influence of alcohol and discourages the use of mobile phones while driving. It also encourages careful observation while travelling.
