Paying tribute to people with meritorious service to the revolution – a traditional practice by Masan High-Tech Materials

In honoring the tradition of “when you drink water, think of the source” and “when you eat fruits, remember the one who planted the tree”, on the 74th anniversary of the Vietnam’s Remembrance Day (27/7/1947 – 27/7/2021), Masan High-Tech Materials (MHT) organized a number of practical and meaningful activities in tribute to families of war invalids, martyrs and persons with meritorious service to the revolution across Dai Tu district area.

With empathy and responsibility, in the context of Covid-19 pandemic complications, MHT, on one hand, takes cautious prevention and control measures while boosting business production, and on the other hand, enhances the corporate responsibility for the community and society.

The Company representatives visited and offered incense in tribute to the heroes and martyrs at the July 27 National Historic Site; and presented 60 gift packs to wounded and sick war veterans, persons with meritorious service to the revolution and orange agent victims from the 6 communes of Ha Thuong, Tan Linh, Phuc Linh, Tan Thai, Cat Ne and Hung Son town adjacent to Nui Phao Project area. The Company also coordinated with Thai Nguyen Business Association to offered incense and pay tribute to the heroes and martyrs; and give presents to 5 families under preferential policy and individuals who rendered their services to the country in Dai Tu district.

To date, MHT has joined hands in building over 20 Houses of Gratitude, offering hundreds of scholarships in cash and in kind to poor students; providing medical check and advice for nearly 2,000 people with meritorious service to the country and government-policy beneficiary families; and thousands of poor households and individuals from the vulnerable group have become beneficiaries from the Company’s humanitarian charity programs. These activities have helped promote the tradition of “when you drink water, think of the source” and “the spirit of solidarity”; at the same time, showcasing the Company’s social responsibility to the community and society.
