On November 13, representatives from Nui Phao Mining attended the ceremony celebrating the 43rd anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day (November 20) and the 59th anniversary of Hanoi University of Mining and Geology (HUMG, 1966–2025) and gave scholarships for the university students.

At the event, Nui Phao presented scholarships to students from the Faculty of Surface Mining and contributed VND 20 million to the university’s Scholarship Fund, supporting young talents in their pursuit of academic and scientific excellence.

Through this meaningful contribution, Nui Phao aims to help HUMG students gain better access to educational opportunities, strengthen their practical skills, and equip themselves for future careers in the mining industry. Over the years, the company has maintained a close partnership with HUMG, actively supporting students through scholarships, internship opportunities, and recruitment programs across various faculties.

Mr. Phan Chien Thang, Nui Phao’s representative, shared: “Currently, about 10% of our more than 200 senior staff and engineers are HUMG alumni. The university’s professors and lecturers have also been our trusted partners, collaborating with us on many important scientific research projects.”

Looking ahead, Nui Phao plans to launch a Talent Scholarship Program in 2026, with an estimated budget of VND 200 million, to support outstanding students and young scientists in the field of mining.

With its vision for sustainable development and a strong commitment to investing in people, Nui Phao continues to create opportunities for HUMG students to learn, research, and grow their careers in a professional, modern working environment. Through such initiatives, the company contributes to building a high-quality workforce that will drive the future of Vietnam’s mining industry.
